The International Seminar
"Eco-efficient and resource saving technologies in educational programmes aimed at training advanced professionals"

The Seminar is going to be held on June 27, 2010- July 4, 2010 in Tomsk and Irkutsk

This seminar is devoted to discussing, analysing and sharing the good Russian and European practices in the field of eco-efficient and resource saving technologies in educational programmes aimed at training advanced professionals. The latest developments and findings from theory, modeling and case studies on the aspects of the Seminar subjects will be presented by leading experts in the field of eco-efficient and resource saving technologies from Russian and European Universities, from Russian Academy of Science and other scientific and research centers of Russia and Europe.

Section subjects:

1. Educational and technological aspects of training advanced professionals in power efficient and resource saving fields;

2. Efficient use of recreation resources and recycling: significance for society sustainable development (educational and technological aspects)
   2.1.    Recreation resources;
   2.2.    Recycling and resource saving technologies;

3. Round table: Research institutes and their significant role in implementation of resource saving technologies.

Attendees

The Seminar will be of interest to a broad range of scientists, engineers, industrialists. Heads of leading Russian and European Higher Education Institutes, Research Institutes and Centers, members of Russian Academy of Science, local authorities, and heads of the Departments for Science, Education and International Cooperation are invited to take part in the Seminar.
All involved in the field are invited to attend and submit presentations to the Seminar.

Venue: Russian Federation, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Irkutsk State Technical University, the Baikal Lake.

Dates: June 27, 2010- July 4, 2010

The programme of the Seminar includes special events: Sightseeing tour around the city (Tomsk, Irkutsk), transfer from Tomsk to Irkutsk by train through the Trans-Siberian Railway in comfortable first-class sleeper, a full-day Baikal Lake cruise on the board of the luxurious cruise ship.

Working languages of the Seminar: Russian and English (simultaneous translation is provided).
All the participants will get handout in Russian and English and Certificate of Attendance.

The registration fee of the Seminar is

• 2000 € for participant of the Seminar

• 1800 € for attendant

The fee includes:

1. Assistance in obtaining and delivering of invitation for applying Russian business visa

2. Transfers:

   • transfers to and from airport, hotel, universities in Tomsk;

   • transfer from Tomsk to Irkutsk by train;

   • transfers to and from airport, hotel, universities in Irkutsk;

3. Lodging in hotels of Tomsk and Irkutsk

4. Meals, coffee-breaks, gala dinner

5. Sightseeing tours

6. The Lake Baikal cruise

7. Costs and materials associated with the Seminar programme:

   • work of the Organising committee;

   • simultaneous translation;

   • handout materials.

For the participation in the work of the Seminar it is necessary to register before March 15, 2010. You may fill in the registration form at the official site www.aeer.ru or you may download the empty registration form, fill it and insert in your e-mail letter as attached file and send it to the Organising committee (aeer@list.ru).

Please, take into consideration that the Registration could be stopped earlier by the Organising committee, as the number of the Seminar participants is limited.
