8.2. The Association may hold in possession land, buildings, constructions,
residence facilities, equipment, tools, property employed for cultural and
educational purposes, cash funds, stock and other securities, as well as other
movable and immovable property needed to support the activities outlined
in the Charter. It may also own enterprises, publishing firms and mass media established or bought with its proper funds, in accordance with the aims
spelled out in the Charter.
8.3. The Association is the
owner of its lawful property. No particular member of the Association has rights of
ownership to any share of the Association's property.
8.4. The Association may
enter in any transactions concerning its property, in accordance with legislation of the
Russian Federation and this Charter.
8.5. The right of the
ownership over property getting into the Association or established and acquired with its
own funds, on behalf of the Association is exercised by its permanent body - the
Administrative Board.
8.6. Regional chapters of
the Association functioning on the grounds of this Charter, and its branches and offices
hold right of operative management over the property allocated to them by the owner - the
Association.
Regional chapters of the Association functioning with their own charters
and constituting juridical persons, as well as public associations - members of the
Association, own their lawful property.
8.7. The Association may
engage in business activity only as far as this promotes achievement of the aims defined
in the Charter and correlates with these aims. Business activity is carried out by the
Association in accordance with the Civil Code and other laws of the Russian Federation.
8.8. The Association may
found companionships and companies and acquire property intended for business activity.
8.9. Specific types of
activity identified by the law may be performed by the Association only upon proper
licensing.
8.10. The revenues received by the Association in
the course of its business activity may not be re-distributed among its members and will be used solely for fulfilling the tasks
and objectives defined by the Charter. The Association may spend its
funds for charitable purposes.
